Safe environment for our children to attend school, the teachers are great! Couldn't ask for better.

This place sucks it isn't right the way that they treat you and the schools are stupid that they are falling apart and they don't care there education is terrible and i hate it id rather go to a school that is made of dirt before i have children and can send theme here and just in 10/25 i found a hair in my food that was like a foot long and this isn't good i am no longer going to eat school food and i urge you so much to please not let your children do it either... so said =(
I am a students at Niles High School and honestly i am not happy with how they run our school. They don't do anything about bulling until they see it happen. Recently a students tried to kill himself and is in the hospital fighting for his life and yet the school isn't doing anything to try an find the person that made him do that. All our school doe is continue to mention is and have kids go to the office to talk about it but why talk about it if they refuse to take action and help stop bulling. In Wisconsin they recently passed a law that allowed schools to give kids ages 18 and younger fines for bulling, the fine is over $300 the fine goes for bulling at school and online when kids are at home. The students are tired of hearing that kids will be kids, if you are being bullied talk to a teacher, but how can we talk to a teacher when all they do is tell you to ignore them, we are in a school with almost 1000 students, there may be a lot of kids, but there is also a lot of victims and I happen to be one of them.
If you are thinking of sending your children to school here, don't. Especially not if those children are disabled in any way. They will actively deny any disability exists. This school sucks in nearly every way including quality of education. The schools contained within this district have buildings with leaky ceilings and bathroom stalls with no doors. Most of the money that this district gets goes into the pockets of the people running the school, not into the school itself. Also, the food here is the worst, and I think the sloppy joe sandwiches served here have given people worms. There are science classroom textbooks here that were written in the 1990's and earlier, and, if you are a student, do not go or stay here. There are only 5 Adv. Placement classes at the High School, and these schools hardly prepare their students for college.
